13:45 Cheltenham - cavani.co.uk Novices' Limited Handicap Chase
Gavin Cromwell's RAILWAY HURRICANE may still be regarded as a novice, but he's vastly experienced over fences and he's been a hugely consistent performer. Placed in the first three over fences a whopping 11 times, the eight-year-old finally grabbed his first win at Tipperary back in July. Last seen finishing second at Cheltenham last month, where he was a decent runner-up to Idalko Bihoue, Cromwell's charge will line up off the same mark of 130 in Sunday's event and he looks more than capable of grabbing a second win over the larger obstacles.
Jonjo O'Neill's Crebilly will be making his chasing debut in this contest and while he could have more potential than Railway Hurricane in the long run, the Jackdaws Castle inmate is worth taking on here. Ginny's Destiny was well behind the Cromwell charge here last month, so is going to struggle to reverse that form. Albeit tough to win with, Railway Hurricane should give a good account of himself here and he can land the prize for the Irish.

14:20 Cheltenham - Jewson Handicap Chase
A Grade 2 winner of the Towton Novices' Chase at Wetherby last season, Nicky Henderson's CITY CHIEF will be looking to build on a solid novice campaign and push his name into the staying handicap chase picture this season. One that could turn into a potential Grand National contender in the future, City Chief will have to win this contest if he is to hold any aspirations in that Aintree contest and he looks to have plenty going for him in the 14:20 at Cheltenham on Sunday afternoon.
He ended last season finishing third at Ayr, but his jumping was a little iffy that day which certainly hindered his chances, so the Seven Barrows team would certainly have worked on that. Off 142 here, he looks one that could be potentially progressive from that mark. A host of experienced performers will take him on here with Cloudy Glen and Captain Cattistock notable rivals, but it's another seven-year-old in the shape of Guetapan Collonges that could prove to be his biggest rival and that one lines up here after winning at Carlisle. However, this is much tougher and it's City Chief that should have more potential to improve this season and is the selection in a cracking betting heat.

15:30 Cheltenham - Unibet Greatwood Handicap Hurdle
Running off bottom weight, Onlyamatteroftime has been heavily supported for the Greatwood Handicap Hurdle at 15:30 and the Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old is a fascinating contender as he's not shown much on the track as of yet, but is well fancied to score here. Short in the betting, the former Niall Madden-trained raider is a contender that is worth taking on and it's Nicky Henderson that can grab victory in this race, as he has two leading players for what is a competitive renewal.
Iberico Lord is the first runner for the Seven Barrows team, but it's the bigger priced LUCCIA that can strike gold here as the smart mare could prove to be a cut above her rivals in this event. Sent off a hot favourite for the Mares' Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, she could only finish fourth that day, but she then went and finished third in the Grade 1 Top Novices' Hurdle at Aintree, which is decent form. Second on her comeback run at Wetherby, Luccia is sure to come on bundles for that outing and a mark of 136 looks workable for a mare that could well turn into a potential Mares' Hurdle contender come the spring.
