Horse Racing Tips: Rushen to grab Newcastle win on Tuesday

Last seen finishing second at Newcastle, the Nicky Richards-trained Castle Rushen will attempt to go one better this afternoon when lining up in the 14:35 back at the north east venue, and the eight-year-old has proven the most popular nap of the day amongst our racing tipsters. Fresh from Cheltenham Gold Cup hopeful Ahoy Senor's win at Cheltenham at the weekend, Owen is hoping Red Missile can strike gold in the 13:25 at Newcastle and the Russell raider is a 9/1 chance at the moment.

Postdata of the Racing Post is attempting to reel in Bladen at the top of the table and heads to Southwell's evening card for the best bet of the day. Postdata has napped the 9/1 chance Another Angel, who runs in the 20:00 event, but that runner has been on an extremely long losing streak, but is significantly lower in the handicap than his last winning mark, so any return to form could see the eye-catching price feature.

Other notable selections on Tuesday include Ivan Furtado's Crazy Spin, who is the best bet of Spotlight from the Racing Post, and is a 9/1 chance for the 17:00 at Southwell, while West Tip from the Western Morning News has backed the Fergal O'Brien-trained Poetic Music in the 16:00 at Ffos Las, and that tipster is another bidding for a third winning nap on the bounce.
