Horse Racing Tips: Note to hit the right tune at Lingfield
With Leicester forced to abandon their Jumps card we only have two racing fixtures taking place on Wednesday and the action kicks off at Lingfield at 12:45 with a seven-race card, while there's alternative all-weather Flat racing at Kempton Park this evening on a day devoid of jumping action. We preview all Wednesday's racing here and pick out some of the most popular naps of the day...

Simon & Ed Crisford's Base Note will have the burden of top weight in the 14:15 at Lingfield this afternoon, but the in-form four-year-old, who is a warm 7/4 shot for today's weight, has proven the most popular nap of the day with five tipsters napping the favourite. A winner off a mark of 90 at Wolverhampton two starts ago, he very nearly followed off when second off 96 at the same track last time out, so a 1lb higher mark shouldn't hinder him too much, so if he can keep progressing then he looks to have a superb chance of venturing into the winner's enclosure again.
Charlie Johnston's Capital Theory appears to be one of the big dangers to Base Note and that 3/1 chance has been napped by three tipsters including Chris Wright from the Liverpool Echo, who sits third in the naps table, and is looking to return to the top of the standings having been dislodged from top spot.
Elsewhere at Lingfield, the Charlie Hills-trained Rabaah is a red-hot 4/5 favourite for the 13:45 contest and that raider has been napped by four tipsters for today's contest, while later in the afternoon, Mick's Spirit, who is a 7/2 chance for the 14:45 race has also been napped four times. Fifth placed tipster Postdata from the Racing Post is one of the four tipsters to nap Mick's Spirit and that three-times course and distance winner is looking to reign supreme once again.

Rory Delargy of The Irish Field has moved to the top of the naps table and has a current profit of £22.87 and the form tipster could launch clear at the top of the standings if the 14/1 outsider Lady Nagin can claim victory in the 13:45 race at Lingfield on Wednesday afternoon.
The Brigadier, who has slipped into second spot following Delargy's recent winner, heads to Kempton Park this evening for the best bet of the day and the tipster is backing the 5/4 favourite Blazeon Five in the 20:00 race. Roger Teal's course and distance winner has racked up a trio of wins in his last three outings - with two of them coming at Kempton - so while he will need to deal with another 7lbs rise for this evening's event he is in the form of his life, so has to be the one to beat.
Other eye-catching naps at Kempton this evening include 15/8 shot Foinix, who runs in the 18:00 race and is the best bet of Moorestyle from the Daily Star Sunday, while The North from The Racing Post is bidding for a third winning nap in a row and that form tipster has backed Adrian Keatley's Satin Snake in the 17:00.
