13:25 Haydock - Betfred Last Fling Handicap Chase
A real model of consistency, Sue Smith's EAST STREET can record a third career win over fences in the Last Fling Handicap Chase at 13:25 at Haydock as he has been in great form of late and has the potential of landing this trappy betting heat. A winner at Wetherby two starts ago, East Street then was last seen finishing second at Newcastle and while he's been creeping up the handicap he is one of the form performers taking their chance here and he looks more than capable of scoring.
He's been given another 3lbs rise for that Newcastle, but a mark of 120 still looks workable and the likes of Fantastikas and Fortescue have been finding it tough to get their head in front of late, so it's wise to stick with the consistent East Street, who can make it two wins in his last three runs.

13:50 Newbury - Coral Bet Bundles Handicap Hurdle
Nicky Henderson's STEAL A MARCH has been off the track for over a year, but he was an impressive winner on his last start at Wincanton on Boxing Day 2022 and he has the potential to kick off his new campaign with a win in the 13:50 event at Newbury. A winner off a mark of 128 on his last start, the Seven Barrows inmate will take his chance off 132 and while you are banking on the Henderson team having him pretty tuned up he is one that has the potential to keep on improving and is the one to back.
Dan Skelton's Get A Tonic is the main danger and she was last seen storming to victory at Newbury at big odds, but she's been handed a huge 8lbs hike by the handicapper for that victory and she may just find it tough to deal with that rise in the weights and could leave the door open for the returning Steal A March, who can claim success.

15:00 Newbury - Coral Challow Novices' Hurdle
It could prove to be a profitable day for the Nicky Henderson as they unleash the hugely exciting WILLMOUNT, who can show his potential Ballymore Novices' Hurdle credentials by winning the final Grade 1 of 2023, the Challow Novices' Hurdle. He headed to Newbury back in November with a lofty reputation and he made no mistake when winning at short odds on his hurdling debut and he shaped like he could be a top notch performer over timber this season.
This is much tougher than that with the likes of Grade 2 winner Captain Teague sure to put pressure on him, but Willmount looks a real top quality performer for Seven Barrows and while he may not reach the heights of former winner Constitution Hill he looks a potential star novice hurdler who can breeze to victory here and make it two wins from two.
