Aberama Gold was thwarted in his hat-trick bid at Kempton last time out – a race that featured four of these five runners – but should be well suited by the return to the scene of his course and distance success last month. Above fared best of these at Kempton 16 days ago, but I am giving another chance to STREAMLINE (NAP – 1 point win bet at 11/4), who caught the eye on his first start for 487 days.

Although last of the six, he was beaten by just two lengths and is sure to have come on for the run. Prior to his Kempton reappearance, he had won three of his four career starts, including the Group 3 Sirenia Stakes for two-year-olds over the six-furlong trip. His only defeat came in a York Listed race in which he finished a very respectable third.

The form of his Group 3 victory did not work out particularly well, but he won it in the style of a smart performer. After travelling well through the race, he made his challenge inside the final furlong before pulling clear to score comfortably. He appears to be highly regarded by Clive Cox and connections, and he has Lingfield specialist Adam Kirby on board.
