Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint Odds
Inaugurated in 2018, the Juvenile Turf Sprint is the newest of the Breeders’ Cup races and is the only one that is not a Grade 1. In its first year of existence it was not eligible to be graded, but in 2019 it was given Grade 2 status. The race is run at five or five and a half furlongs on turf, depending on the host track, and carries a purse of $1 million. In 2019 there were five ‘Win and You’re In’ events held that offered an automatic berth to the Juvenile Turf Sprint: the Group 2 Norfolk at Royal Ascot, the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville, the Speakeasy at Santa Anita Park, the Grade 3 Futurity at Belmont Park and the Indian Summer at Keeneland.
