Sean's Take...

She really couldn’t have gotten much easier trips in her two stakes wins at Aqueduct Racetrack, but I suppose that’s going to happen when you have the kind of tactical speed she does. I’ll be honest, she’s not the easiest of reads for me. On one hand she’s just paired up 92 Beyer Speed Figures, which make her a formidable presence in this rather weak edition of the Oaks, though on the other she’s coming off a win over Maracuja, who’s nobody’s idea of a top 3-year-old filly. I think you have to view Search Results as a contender given the dearth of quality in this field, however I suspect she’s going to be an underlay.

J.N's Take...

Seth Klarman & Co. and their excellent establishment at Klaravich Stables made a shrewd decision when they chose Chad Brown as their signature trainer. Across the divisions, they are highly competitive. When it comes to entry in the KYO, they have one of the leading contenders.

This filly out of Flatter is undefeated, and she clearly can stretch out when it comes to distance. Last out, in the 250k Gazelle (G3) @AQU, she rated fabulously with Eclipse Award-winning jockey Irad Ortiz aboard, tracking the leader nicely. Scoring by nearly 3-lengths, she appears primed to come to Churchill ready to duplicate those 3 previous efforts - all wins. Speed figs in the lower 100s make her appear quite formidable. The only tick in the negative box proffers a question . . . was the class competition she faced up at NYRA, really up to scratch? Maracuja, Army Wife, Miss Brazil, and The Grass Is Blue might not qualify as top of the food chain. Maybe a bit more to prove before she deserves top billing. Grade: B+
