History:  The catchily titled Road to the Kentucky Derby Conditions Stakes is a brand new race added to the calendar solely for the purpose of adding another Prep Race for European horses ahead of the Kentucky Derby.

The race first took place in 2018 when the European Road to the Kentucky Derby was first created.

It takes place at Kempton Park, just to the south of London on an artificial track.
