About the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes
The Duke Of Cambridge Stakes is a Group Two race run on day two of Royal Ascot and attracts some of the leading fillies and mares aged four years or older.
First run in 2004, the race was first run under the name of the Windsor Forest Stakes, but in 2013 it was switched to its current name the Duke Of Cambridge Stakes. Holding Group Two status means it may not attract the elite four-year-old fillies and older mares, but the roll of honour still has some smart names on it, and it's a race that continues to grow in stature.
