Q88 Key Features: Why should you sign up?
Let’s highlight some of the things that Q88 does well, and which will add something extra to your overall betting experience.
Strong on payment options
There’s a big selection on offer including VISA and Mastercard debit cards, bank transfers and a load of e-wallets such as Google and Apple Pay, PayPal, Neteller, Skrill, Paysafe and Payz. In most cases you can deposit as little as £10 and all permitted deposit methods are instantly processed, with no fees. In most cases withdrawals will take just one working day for the cash to be with you though some, notably the bank transfer, will take longer. Unfortunately, this isn’t a fast withdrawal betting site so there’s no possibility of receiving your money instantly.
Good for under-the-radar sports
All Sportsbooks offer betting on horseracing, football, tennis, golf and US Sports. But what about the likes of chess, Speedway, Futsal and NACAR racing? Well, Q88 cover all those too as part of their offering of 35+ sports so if those are what floats your boat, you’ve come to the right place.
Rewards Programme
A somewhat neglected aspect of sports betting these days is the Rewards Programme, but not here. The more you play and the more tasks you complete as set out by the Programme, the more rewards you get, which you choose yourself. Including free bets, cashback deals, free spins to use on Casino and much more.
On Which Sports Can You Apply the Q88 Welcome Offer?
The Q88 welcome offer is extremely flexible, including the fact you can use the free bet on any sport you like. Here are three of the best ones to wager on here at Q88.
Cricket
In addition to all major cricket matches being offered, you can also look forward to competitive betting odds across all markets. And what they’re particularly good at in terms of their markets is offering player-specific ones, including: top batsman and bowler for each side, top match batsman and bowler, which player from each team will hit the most 4s and 6s, plus other ones you don’t always see. Like whether a hundred will be scored in the game or the method of the first dismissal.
eSports
Some people might argue that eSports aren’t actually sports so shouldn’t be included here. But eSports betting is big business these days and there’s no shortage of it here on a load of games including Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends (LOL), Valorant and Mobile Legends. LOL matches you can bet on come from all five continents in addition to the major competitions and there are up to 60 markets to bet on when it comes to the biggest contests.
Tennis
Another sport where every tournament under the sun is offered and with dozens of markets to choose from, both in pre-match betting and live betting. At the moment they don’t have live streaming for it, but they do have a graphic illustration of what’s going on in the match, plus a real-time scoreboard.
Mistakes To Avoid When Claiming the Q88 New Customer Offer
Here’s what you need to remember to do, and not to do, when claiming this welcome offer:
- Remember to enter the bonus code SKC04 when making your deposit;
- Place your £25 free bet in one go, not broken up into smaller bets;
- Use your free bet and free spins within 30 days or else you’ll lose them;
- Remember to also meet the 50x wagering requirements on winnings from the free bet or free spins, within those 30 days.
Q88 Free Bets and Offers for Existing Customers
Q88 may not have quite as many ongoing betting offers as some of its rivals but there are still a couple of good ones to look forward to. Here they are.
Free Bet Mondays
Every Monday you have the chance to secure yourself a £20 free bet by depositing and placing bets worth £50 during the day (Monday). To get the bonus you’ll need to opt in by entering Q88 promo code FBM and as soon as you enter it, your bonus will appear as ‘pending’ in your account until you’ve placed the £50 worth of bets. Once that amount in bets has been settled, your £20 Q88 free bet will be available to use and must be placed as a one-off bet within 7 days of it being awarded to you at odds of at least 2.0. You have 7 days to meet the (1x) wagering requirements or else you’ll lose any winnings generated from the bonus. The maximum amount you can withdraw in terms of winnings from the free bet is £200.
Weekend Sports Cashback
An unlucky weekend on the sports betting front may be about to get that little bit better thanks to this 10% cashback offer. Entering Q88 bonus code WCB when you make your next deposit will make you eligible for 10% cashback on any weekend losses, with ‘the weekend’ being considered as Thursday morning to midnight on Sunday. The cashback offer only applies to losses on single bets (not accas or other types of bets), is capped at £500, will be awarded within 7 days of midnight on Sunday and doesn’t have any wagering requirements.
Is There a Q88 Mobile App?
No, at present you won’t be able to download and use a stand-alone Q88 betting app because they don’t have one. That’s somewhat rare among new betting sites but not really an issue as far as we’re concerned. That’s because you can of course access Q88 from your laptop as well as via the web browser on your mobile, which does pretty much everything that a mobile app would do.
Q88 Responsible Gambling Features
One of the most overlooked yet most important parts of a betting site is its attitude to responsible gambling and the tools and support it offers to customers in a bid to promote responsible gambling.
Here at Q88 they have a dedicated page to it that explains what responsible gambling is, what are symptoms of gambling addiction and what tools are available at the Sportsbook to keep your gambling in check. Such as setting limits on the amount you deposit, wager and lose over a specific time period and time limits where you block yourself from playing after you’ve already being betting for a certain amount of time. You do of course also have the option to self-exclude from the betting site entirely, either on a temporary basis (again, for a period determined by you) or permanently.
The page also explains how you can use parental controls such as NetNanny and Qustodio to make sure underage people in your household don’t access betting sites.
Finally, the site has links to organisations you can contact to help you deal with gambling-related issues such as Gamblers Anonymous and GamCare.
Our Experience Using Q88
This is by no means one of the most famous bookies out there and part of the reason for that is they’ve been quite conservative in terms of advertising. But they’re only four years old and from what I’ve seen so far, they could become a bigger player over the next few years, though it may take a while longer before they can compete with the very biggest names.
I placed bets across numerous different sports and found the process simple, straightforward and the odds on offer to be competitive, particularly liking their cricket, eSports and tennis products.
Banking was another positive and there were at least four or five payment options available that I already owned so had plenty of choice when it came to getting my money in and out. It’s true that some betting sites will process withdrawals quicker (Instant or within 3 hours) than here (at least 1 working day) but it’s also true that others are considerably slower than that.
I remembered to deposit and play on a Monday which meant I received my £50 free bet when depositing and wagering £50, so that’s both literally and figuratively, a bonus! I’ve only just started on the Rewards Programme but have also received a couple of bonuses via that, so there are freebies everywhere you look.
However, as we always say, no sportsbook is perfect. I wasn’t best impressed with the wagering requirements on the welcome offer, and I think it’s quite unnecessary to charge fees on withdrawals, even if the maximum amount they’ll ever charge is just £3. At the moment their horse racing offer is just for UK racing, so I hope they expand on that and in an ideal world, they’ll have some live streaming in the future.
But they’ve made a very promising start for a sportsbook that’s only been around since 2020, and I’m sure they’ll get even better.
