About the Queen Anne Stakes
The Queen Anne Stakes is a feature Grade 1 race run over one mile and takes place on day one of Royal Ascot in June.
The traditional curtain-raiser to Royal Ascot, the Queen Anne Stakes was first run in 1840 and has long been one of the showpiece races of the Flat season. Attracting the premier milers from across the globe, the top class contest has been won by some of the finest horses in history, and it shall continue to be a race targeted by all the premier trainers and owners.
DOCKLANDS sprung a surprise to win the race in 2025 at 14/1, having come second in 2024. Favourite backers were wincing as market leader Rosallion was just touched off.
