Both teams come into this one off high-scoring domestic games - Inter lost 4-3 to Juventus, while Ajax saw off Zwolle 3-1 - so another goal-heavy clash looks firmly on the cards.

PSG vs Atalanta

Defending champions PSG open their campaign with a testing duel at home to 2024 Europa League winners Atalanta at the Parc des Princes.

Bradley Barcola has kicked off the new season in impressive form, netting four goals for club and country so far, including a brace in PSG’s 2-0 win over Lens last weekend. Last season, he racked up 42 goal involvements across all competitions, with seven coming in the Champions League.

Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid

Liverpool have been interesting to watch this season. Without being entirely convincing, they’ve conjured up four dramatic wins in four Premier League games to shoot to the top of the table. Once they find full rhythm, they will be a frightening prospect for any opponent.

The Reds excelled at this stage last season, topping the league phase with seven wins from eight games, and have won their last two games against Atletico Madrid. Diego Simeone’s side have made a sluggish start to their campaign, with just one win in four, and arrive at Anfield dealing with multiple injury concerns to key personnel.
