Friday's Naps Leaderboard Top Three
There’s no stopping Chris Connolly (Norwich Evening News) at the moment, as he keeps his place at the top of the NAPs leaderboard with a healthy cushion over the rest of the field. For Friday’s action he’s looking to extend that advantage by putting his faith in SPRING BLOOM, who lines up in the 19:05 at Newmarket. The market currently has him at 8/1, and plenty will fancy his chances of delivering again.
Sitting in second spot, InsideTraxs.co.uk need a result to close the gap, and their hopes rest on NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND in the 14:00 at Brighton. At odds of 11/5 when we checked, this one could provide exactly the boost they’re chasing.
Third-placed Steve Mullington (William Hill Racing) turns his attention to SILENT APPLAUSE in the 17:40 at Haydock. Sent off at a short 4/5 in the early betting, this pick won’t overhaul Connolly’s tally even if it lands, but it might well put the pressure on InsideTraxs in the battle for second.
Today’s Top Three NAPs
-
Chris Connolly – Spring Bloom – 19:05 Newmarket – 8/1 – P&L: +£39.38
-
InsideTraxs.co.uk – Newyorkstateofmind – 14:00 Brighton – 11/5 – P&L: +£16.78
-
Steve Mullington – Silent Applause – 17:40 Haydock – 4/5 – P&L: +£12.62
The front three have been consistent all week, but as always, one big-priced winner from lower down the standings could quickly change the picture.
