Tuesday's Naps Leaderboard Top Three
Chris Connolly (Norwich Evening News) continues to lead the way, and he’ll be hoping that his latest selection, OBEE JO in the 15:00 at Catterick, delivers the goods. Currently priced at 17/2, a win would significantly boost his already impressive profit of £21.38 and keep him well clear at the top.
In second place, Steve Mullington (William Hill Racing) sends out BOLLIN NEIL in the 15:30 at Catterick. With odds of 4/1, at the time of writing, this pick offers solid value and could close the gap if Connolly’s runner doesn’t deliver.
InsideTraxs.co.uk rounds out the top three and is banking on LANGHOLM in the 15:00 at Catterick, a runner that comes in at 5/1. Their current profit sits at £14.28, and a win today would put pressure on the top two.
- Chris Connolly – Obee Jo – 15:00 Catterick – 17/2 – P&L: +£21.38
- Steve Mullington – Bollin Neil – 15:30 Catterick – 4/1 – P&L: +£15.62
- InsideTraxs.co.uk – Langholm – 15:00 Catterick – 5/1 – P&L: +£14.28
Although these three runners will attract plenty of interest from punters who swear by the Naps Table, the horse who is by far the most popular in the NAPs competition is MISS CARTESIAN, with a huge nine experts picking her as the best bet on Tuesday. Lee Sobot in sixth is the most profitable tipster this season to have chosen her.
Racing News Round-Up
- Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore officially join forces -Dual Grand National winning trainer Lucinda Russell has officially added Michael Scudamore, son of her partner Peter, to her training licence as they will now have horses under both names. Michael Scudamore had until two years ago trained in his own right for sixteen years but will now form a formidable partnership with Russell, Scotland's most high profile jumps trainer.
- Danny Tudhope's hot run continues - It'd have been no surprise to see Danny Tudhope take things easy for a couple of days following his weekend Group 1 heroics over in France on Fallen Angel, but the rider struck while the iron was hot and headed to Ripon yesterday, where he rode a fine double. He's got a day off today but is back with a trio of rides tomorrow at Pontefract if you want to follow the man in form.
