Horse Racing Tips: Uncle Dick The Naps Leader Pick at Brighton
Yesterday's most popular Nap was way out in front of any rivals in the table of selectors, but disappointed the nine tipsters who backed her for glory. Today there is a much wider spread across the leaderboard, with a host of horses getting three votes making them the most napped of the day. Here we discuss RaceOlly's Wednesday each-way selections, the NAP leaders' selections and give a round-up of any recent racing news...

Wednesday's Naps Leaderboard Top Three
Chris Connolly (Norwich Evening News) remains at the top of the leaderboard, and he’ll be hoping UNCLE DICK in the 15:45 at Brighton can add to his already healthy profit of £20.38. Currently priced at 17/1, a win today would strengthen his lead and boost his impressive 21.0% ROI.
Close behind in second place is InsideTraxs.co.uk, who is siding with FEN TIGER in the 17:15 at Yarmouth. At odds of 17/2, a victory could see them overtake Connolly, especially with their ROI sitting slightly higher at 21.8%.
Steve Mullington (William Hill Racing) rounds out the top three. His pick for the day is BAY BREEZE in the 17:08 at Pontefract. Priced at 18/1, this high-value selection could shake things up if it comes good, pushing him well past his current £14.62 profit.
-
Chris Connolly – Uncle Dick – 15:45 Brighton – 17/1 – P&L: +£20.38
-
InsideTraxs.co.uk – Fen Tiger – 17:15 Yarmouth – 17/2 – P&L: +£18.78
-
Steve Mullington – Bay Breeze – 17:08 Pontefract – 18/1 – P&L: +£14.62
While these top three attract plenty of attention, it’s likely another name could steal the spotlight depending on results later today.
Racing News Round-Up
- Delacroix and Ombudsman to lock horns once more - The Juddmonte International looked set to be a race for the ages if Field Of Gold, the vanquished Sussex Stakes favourite, had turned up, but with his absence now confirmed we are all set for a rematch between DELACROIX and OMBUDSMAN. O'Brien and Gosden clash again for one of the biggest prizes in flat racing, so fingers crossed both horses make the race in one peace!
- Whirl Set For Whirlwind Round The World Adventure - Irish Oaks and Royal Ascot winner WHIRL has been nominated by Aidan O'Brien as a horse with the constitution to take on the world on their home turf, with the Cox Plate mooted as a long term target Down Under. She really should be a double Oaks winner and it'd be folly to dismiss her wherever on earth she turns up next.
- Charlie Appleby Shuns Champions Day Again - After a wretched recent Ascot record, both at Champions Day and the Royal Meeting, Charlie Appleby has entered just five horses for the showpiece occasion in Berkshire. He is out of the title race now and clearly is aiming his big guns elsewhere.
