ITV Racing Tips: Appleby and Buick can combine for Newmarket Victory

Tip 1: Urban Glimpse (Newmarket 13:50)
Handicap fare kicks off the second afternoon at Newmarket's July Festival and the opening trip is a mile-and-a-quarter for the eight-runner field in this Class 2 contest.
Andrew Balding's team are in absolutely superb fettle of late, with a 30 per cent strike-rate from 60 runners.
URBAN GLIMPSE is lightly raced and the Kempton novice winner has shown improved form since returning from his winter lay-off to go into handicaps.
He was second at Sandown and York on his first two runs, both races working out exceedingly well, and from just 1lb higher with Oisin Murphy taking over in the saddle, this could be his moment.
Tip 2: Endless Victory (Newmarket 15:00)
Charlie Appleby and William Buick combine with top-weight ENDLESS VICTORY in this bet365 Trophy, a heritage handicap over 1m6f.
The Teofilo gelding had an up and down time of it in 2024 but won twice, including at this track over shorter.
He had a couple of spins at Meydan in the spring and, after four months off, caught the eye making up good late ground from an impossible position in the Copper Horse Handicap at Royal Ascot off just 1lb lower.
He was given an awful lot of ground to try and make up there, but has won races from much more prominent positions and he has untapped potential at this trip, and indeed after only eight career starts.

Tip 3: January (Newmarket 15:35)
Aidan O'Brien and Ryan Moore got off to the perfect start here on Thursday when Scandinavia produced a scintillating win and JANUARY could have the answers for them in the Tattersalls Falmouth Stakes.
She faces Crimson Advocate (winner), Cinderella's Dream (second) and Running Lion (fourth) after they excelled in the Duke Of Cambridge at Royal Ascot last time, but the Ballydoyle filly gets 9lb in a generous weight-for-age allowance and that could be crucial.
The Kingman filly was twice second to Desert Flower as a 2YO last term and her run in the Irish 2000 Guineas in May appeared to be needed on her comeback.
She built on that when third in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot and could become the seventh 3YO winner of this contest in the last 10 years.
