Our horse racing guide today comes from Plumpton and Wolverhampton
We have four pointers for you today, from Plumpton and Wolverhampton...
1. Bean In Trouble to make debut for Jonjo O'Neill
A Huntingdon bumper winner for his former stable, Bean In Trouble tries hurdling for the first time in the 12.30 at Plumpton Races on what is his debut for the Jonjo O'Neill team. A gelded son of Sulamani, he showed battling qualities to score last time out.
2. De Plotting Shed of interest at Plumpton
Not favoured by the weights in the 13.00 Plumpton, Suzy Smith's runner De Plotting Shed is nonetheless a fascinating one in this two miles and a furlong novices' chase. Second and first in two runs since a spring switch of stables, this is a horse who in October 2017 got to within three lengths of Presenting Percy at Galway.
A good 6/1 winner at Newbury on Friday continued the decent form being exhibited by Herefordshire trainer Venetia Williams. The former Grand National winner has two representatives on the card at Plumpton today, one of which is the seemingly reasonably well fancied Longhousesignora in the mares' handicap hurdle at 13.30. She wears first time cheekpieces and has slipped to an exploitable rating of 113.
4. Gavin Cromwell has a rare runner at Wolverhampton
Following a weekend where he's had National Hunt runners at both Fairyhouse and Newbury, Champion Hurdle-winning trainer Gavin Cromwell has a more unusual representative this evening, his sole hope of the day being filly Innamorare in the 18.45 Wolverhampton. Six times a winner overall, she struck on the all-weather at Dundalk last month and is partnered for the first time by PJ McDonald as she looks to follow up on her first ever start outside of Ireland.
