Racing Tips For Today: Risk to strike at Ascot

There are six racing meetings taking place on Friday and we've highlighted three eye-catching selections from our Naps Table tipsters...
Tipster - The Guardian; Angle - Exciting five-year-old
Paul Nicholls has been in red-hot form in recent weeks and the Ditcheat handler will saddle Red Risk in the 14:05 event at Ascot races on Friday afternoon, and the five-year-old is the selection of The Guardian tipster, who is bidding for back-to-back winning Naps. Having bagged an 11/2 winner on Thursday, The Guardian tipster will look to follow up and in Red Risk they have a horse that was hugely impressive at Ludlow two starts ago, but failed to follow up at Market Rasen next time out. He did shape well that day and the youngster is open to more improvement, and can get back to winning ways on Friday.

Tipster - Dean Kilbryde, East Anglian Daily Times; Angle - Eye-catching veteran
Dean Kilbryde of the East Anglian Daily Times landed a 9/4 winner on Thursday and the form tipster will look to continue his winning ways and heads to Catterick races for his best bet of the day. Kilbryde has napped I Just Know, who is a leading contender for the 14:58 race and looks to stand a great chance if returning to some old form. The 2018 North Yorkshire Grand National returns to Catterick to try and emulate that success, and lines up on a 6 lb lower mark than that victory two years ago, so if the Sue Smith-trained veteran can recapture his old form then looks a notable player.

Tipster - Two tipsters; Angle - Hat-trick seeker
Dr Richard Newland's Mr Muldoon has been in great form of late notching up a brace of wins in his last two outings, and the progressive seven-year-old will look to land the hat-trick on Friday afternoon and lines up in the 15:15 at Ascot races. Newland's charge has proven popular among our tipsters with two of them putting Mr Muldoon up as their best bet of the day, and if he can build on his debut chase victory then he can strike again in a competitive-looking event.
