Today's Horse Racing Tips: Surf to victory

Streamline once again shaped as though he’ll be winning more races soon, and it will probably be next time out when my money isn’t on him. He clearly has plenty of ability and is taking his time to come back from his long absence. I think he is now worth a try over seven furlongs as he looks a little outpaced over six before staying on at the finish.
There are two bets for today’s racing at Sandown and Chelmsford.
Sandown Tip
16:15 – 3m Littleworth Handicap Chase (Class 3)
Trainer Emma Lavelle has sent out five runners in the past fortnight and they’ve recorded impressive form figures of 41332 with the winner going in at 66/1! She clearly has her horses in good form and can land another success with the progressive, young chaser ECLAIR SURF (NAP – 1 point win bet at 11/2).
Having made a pleasing chase debut at Hereford, he ran out an easy winner back there in December before being beaten by 3.5-lengths last time out. He was sent off as the 6/4 favourite that day but couldn’t really land a blow off his revised handicap mark. However, he is well worth another chance and will be making just his fourth start over fences.
The heavy ground will be in his favour today and although there are some question marks over the step up in trip, he was a winning point to pointer (over three miles) two years ago. That came by 30-lengths on testing ground, so there is every hope that he will handle today’s race conditions.
The consistent Cuban Pete is next best and he should relish this test.

Chelmsford Tip
19:00 – 7f tote.co.uk Live Streaming Every UK Race Handicap (Class 4)
My last three tips at Chelmsford have all won, so I am hoping that FRED (1 point win bet at 5/1) can make it four in a row. This well-bred son of Frankel has plenty of stamina in his pedigree but benefitted from the drop back to seven furlongs when winning at Lingfield last month.
That took his record to 3-5 over the distance and he has only gone up by 2lbs. He showed a good attitude to battle back and stayed on well to win by a head. Trainer Mark Johnston has sent him on the long journey to Chelmsford and Franny Norton should be able to get a good position from stall six.
The biggest danger looks to be Seas Of Elzaam, who has won before over this course and distance. Glenn Coco is also worth a mention under the excellent Marco Ghiani.
