What happened in the 2020 King's Stand Stakes?
Battaash was a blistering winner of the 2020 King's Stand Stakes, as the Charles Hills-trained 5/6 favourite proved to be a cut above his rivals as he cruised to victory to land his first Royal Ascot success. Sent to the front at the early stages, Battaash was allowed to stroll into the leader by his jockey Jim Crowley, and the pair just blitzed the field in impressive fashion, and went on to cruise to victory over stablemate Equilateral with Liberty Beach back in third.
