What is the Queen Alexandra Stakes?
The Queen Alexandra Stakes is a conditions race run over a distance of two miles, five furlongs and 143 yards and is the longest race of the entire Royal Ascot meeting.
First run in 1864, the Queen Alexandra Stakes has become a prestigious Flat marathon that sees some of the finest stayers in training line up to battle it out for glory.
