What happened in the 2020 Queen Anne Stakes?
Aidan O'Brien's Circus Maximus was a narrow winner of the 2020 Queen Anne Stakes as the 4/1 favourite edged out John Gosden's Terebellum in a head-bobbing finish. Outsider Marie's Diamond set the early fractions as they went little pace, but the in-form performer was swamped by the fancied pair of Circus Maximus and Terebellum in the closing stages, and it appeared the latter had gained the upper hand. However, Ryan Moore managed to just get a little more out of Circus Maximus, who prevailed narrowly.
