What is the Celebration Chase?
The Celebration Chase is a Grade 1 race run at Sandown Park over one mile, seven furlongs and 119 yards and takes place in late April. Run on the same card as the bet365 Gold Cup, the Celebration Chase is open to horses aged five years or older, and is a race that sees those horses that lined up in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival earlier in the season.

Nicky Henderson's JONBON retained his title in the 2024 Celebration Chase, with El Fabiolo labouring in behind as the Sandown specialist Jonbon put in another fine display at the track.
