The Strensall Stakes is a Group 3 race run over 1m 177y for horses aged three years or older and is run at York's Ebor Festival. One of the lesser group races during the Ebor Festival, the Strensall Stakes is often targeted by those horses that are either stepping up from handicap company or are dropping down in grade having struggled at the higher level.
