14:25 Doncaster - Flying Scotsman Stakes
I've no opinion in the first but in this listed race one sticks out like a sore thumb and warrants support. And at the prices, it cannot be the favourite for man of the hour Sir Michael Stoute and Juddmonte, Jonquil. He did make quite the impression to win from a seemingly impossible position at Sandown on debut, but the form of that race is up for debate considering we've seen nothing from those in behind and he is just the type to be overbet on hype in contests like this. If he's the next Frankel, so be it, but he's not for me.
Jonquil is making the market for the second favourite SYMBOL OF HONOUR in my opinion and 10/3 is a fantastic price for a horse beaten just a length in the Coventry. The price is certainly enough to make me push on with backing a Charlie Appleby colt despite the yard not quite firing at present, and with his Royal Ascot form surely worth more than what we saw from Jonquil at Sandown he rates a bet at anything north of 9/4. I do also think C&D winner God Of War should run well and would put nobody off backing the two in a forecast in the hope we get the favourite beaten.

15:35 Doncaster - The Doncaster Cup
Just six runners go to post in the Doncaster Cup at 15:35 and although we don't have a strong enough opinion to give a tip, we have had a go at nailing the 1-2-3 in our runner's guide below...
16:10 Doncaster - British Stallion Studs EBF Premier Fillies' Handicap
Wrapping up Friday's action on ITV is this handicap for fillies and it looks a mightily tough puzzle to solve. We also have the dreaded seven runners which will have each-way punters cursing, so a win only selection seems the logical play. Cabrera is the obvious place to start as favourite, and Ed Bethel's charge certainly has a lot going for her considering this drop in trip looks sure to suit and she has a course win on her CV from a novice race earlier this campaign.
2/1 looks short, however, and I'm happy taking her on with plenty in here at decent prices. I was very tempted indeed by 12/1 shot Ayyab with Oisin Murphy taking the ride as I think she'll get closer to the favourite than she did last time when fourth (favourite was second) in a race in which she clearly did not quite get home. She is overpriced, but a more likely winner in my eyes is BINT AL DAAR and with 7/1 available she rates a great bet.
She has form figures of 1212 in her last four and I'd say her second at York last time out just three weeks ago was her best run yet. She is still getting better and although a hike in the weights won't help, she is tough as old boots and will relish a battle.
