ITV Racing Tips: Friday's Best Bets from Kempton & Chepstow

This is a truly glorious time of year to be a jumps racing fan, with race meetings coming out of our ears and high quality contests galore. Friday is Welsh Grand National day and while we've given that race the full big race treatment elsewhere on site, here we have tips for the ITV Racing undercard...
1:40 Chepstow - Coral Finale Juvenile Hurdle
Nietzsche Has sets the standard here having finished second in a Grade 1 at Auteuil last time. The Marcel Roland trained colt has done all of his running at that same French track so far and in three starts this term has yet to get his head in front so he is passed over in favour of second favourite OPEC from the James Owen yard. This filly has been transformed since the switch to hurdling - winning at Wetherby and Fakenham before a career best victory in a Fillies Listed race at Newbury. She is a full sister to Allmankind who won this race in 2019 and looks an each way bet to nothing at around the 4/1 mark.

2:10 Chepstow - Coral 'Daily Rewards Shaker' Handicap Hurdle
This is a decent race with a few up and coming handicappers destined for better things. Phantomofthepoints was third on reappearance in a Grade 3 Handicap Hurdle at Handicap and should be spot on for today's test whilst Woodie Flash followed up his reappearance win at Ffos Las with a second placed finish in a decent handicap at Newbury. Both look very worthwhile contenders here. However the vote goes to TUNE IN A BOX who was progressive last season - winning four times - and who looked like he was ready to resume the winning habit judged on his fourth placed finish at Cheltenham six weeks ago. The Tom Lacey trained grey may still be ahead of the handicapper and, like the prior selection, he looks a decent each-way bet should all eight go to post.
