Australian sprint sensation Artorius could be back for a second crack at the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes and the five-year-old is going to look to build on last season's fine third place, where he was just beaten by Naval Crown and Creative Force. A busy Royal Ascot could lie ahead for the son of Flying Artie as he's well fancied for the King's Stand Stakes over five furlongs on day one and if he can win that prize he could look to emulate the mighty Choisir, who did the Royal Ascot Group 1 sprint double, and return on Saturday land the 6f Jubilee Stakes.
Well fancied in the latest ante-post betting, Artorius could have another clash with John Quinn's speedball Highfield Princess, who is another entered in both sprint events and showed when winning the Nunthorpe Stakes and Prix Maurice De Gheest that she's a top class sprinter and she could be a leading contender. Highfield Princess got the better of Artorius when the pair clashed in France, but the Aussie star is a shorter price to turn that around here and the pair should serve up an epic battle, if both taking their chance.
A hugely progressive performer over the last couple of seasons, Ralph Beckett's Kinross ended last season with a stunning victory in the Group 1 Champions Sprint Stakes on British Champions Day over six furlongs at Ascot and the six-year-old will return to the scene of that victory on June 24 to try and claim more Group 1 success and is well fancied for glory.

Placed in this race back in 2021, Art Power could take his chance for Tim Easterby and the six-year-old scored back to form with a taking Group success in the Greenlands Stakes at the Curragh and he will be another experienced sprinter aiming to land this coveted prize and is available around the 10/1 mark, while dual Wokingham hero Rohaan is priced similarly, but could he step up to Group 1 company for this event, as he looks for a third Royal Ascot win on the bounce?
William Haggas's Sacred ran a decent race in this event 12 months ago when finishing fifth and the five-year-old mare was last seen winning impressively at Lingfield and she has to be another leading contender for the home challenge, while the likes of Al Suhail and former Albany Stakes winner Sandrine are just another brace of top class speedsters that could take their chance in what is set to be fascinating renewal.
