Key Runners & Form Analysis
Lazzat
This French-based sprinter has been talked about in some quarters as a potential superstar, with a Group 1 win already secured.
The four-year-old won the ARC Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville last August and heads to Ascot having won a Listed contest over 6f last month.
Storm Boy
Three-time champion jockey Moore will be on board this three-year-old, who has impressed in Australia before being bought by O’Brien earlier this year.
Moore has already ridden five winners at Royal Ascot this week and he is likely to get the best out of Storm Boy, who put in good displays in two Group One’s in Australia at the end of 2024.
Inisherin
Trainer Kevin Ryan won this race with Hello Youmzain in 2020 and Inisherin is already a Royal Ascot winner, with success in last year’s Commonwealth Cup.
He goes into this race after a Group 2 victory at York last month, but Moore was on board that day and William Buick will ride the four-year-old for the first time.
Satono Reve
Satono Reve caught the eye when finishing 2 ¼ lengths behind the world’s best sprinter, Ka Ying Rising, in a Hong Kong Group 1 in April.
The six-year-old stayed on well in that Sha Tin contest and will once again be ridden by veteran Brazilian jockey Joao Moreira.

Trainer & Jockey Insights
Charlie Hills has enjoyed success in the last two editions of the QEII, courtesy of Khaadem, and trains outsider Iberian this year.
James Doyle, who rides Lazzat on Saturday, has won this Group 1 twice in the last six years - with Naval Crown in 2022 and Blue Point in 2019.
Six of the last nine winners have been under the age of six, with three-year-old Merchant Navy (Moore/O’Brien) the youngest winner in the last decade.
QEII Trends & Stats
The favourites have struggled in this race in recent years, with the last three winners priced at 14/1 or bigger.
Khaadem was 14/1 when winning in 2024 and had been as big as 80/1 when successful in the 2023 race.
Naval Crown, the 2022 winner, went off at 33/1 while 2021 champion - Dream of Dreams - was the last favourite (3/1) to enter the winners enclosure.
It’s worth noting that three of the last five winners - Khaadem 2023 (2), Dream of Dreams 2021 (3),Hello Youmzain 2020 (2) have come from a lower draw.
