Serpentine supplemented for Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe
This year's Epsom Derby hero Serpentine has been supplemented for Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp by his connections.
The three-year-old was a remarkable winner of the Epsom classic back in July, launching clear of the field and recording a stunning five and a half length pillar-to-post success.
He's been seen just once since, finishing a solid fourth behind stablemate Mogul in the Grand Prix de Paris over the Arc course and distance earlier this month - a performance which has persuaded his connections to pay the €72,000 supplementary fee.
This year's Arc has an open feel to it, and plenty will fancy the son of Galileo to make an impact if similar tactics are deployed to those which served him so well at Epsom.
History-seeking Enable is the current 13/8 favourite for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at the time of writing, while the Epsom Oaks winner Love is a 5/2 chance, and you can view the latest odds for the race below.
