The traditional curtain-raiser to day 2 at Royal Ascot, the Queen Mary Stakes was first run in 1921 and now attracts some of the most precocious juvenile fillies from across the globe. The blink-and-you'll-miss-it contest has been won by some of the speediest two-year-olds throughout history and is sure once again to attract a stellar field for the 2023 showpiece.
TRUE LOVE won the race in 2025 and went on to claim the 1000 Guineas the following season.
