Epsom Oaks Tips
Aidan O'Brien's Love looked tailor made for this trip when powering clear at Newmarket last month in the 1000 Guineas, and bearing in mind that the bare form of her Guineas win is the strongest on offer here, she's fancied to prove her class and strike.

What is The Oaks?
The Oaks is a Group 1 Flat race run at Epsom Downs and is the showpiece event for three-year-old fillies.
First run in 1779, The Oaks is regarded as one of the most prestigious races in the world and is the second leg of the Fillies' Triple Crown. A filly can achieve the Triple Crown by winning the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket, The Oaks at Epsom and then finally land victory in the St Leger at Doncaster, although very few attempt to tackle it. Down the years there have been some superstar winners of The Oaks with Musidora (1949), Salsabil (1990) and Enable (2017) just three of those phenomenal fillies to taste victory.
What happened in the 2019 Oaks?
John Gosden's Anapurna reeled in the Aidan O'Brien-trained Pink Dogwood to claim a fine victory in the 2019 Oaks. With O'Brien's charge kicking for home two furlongs from home, the Ballydoyle filly pulled a length clear of Anapurna, but Frankie Dettori managed to get a real tune out of Gosden's starlet and she gradually reeled in her main rival and was pushed clear to win impressively. Pink Dogwood grabbed second place, while Fleeting finished third for the O'Brien team.
