Horse Racing Tips: Check out a host of tips for the Irish Grand National
There's a busy day's racing on Easter Monday, with the showpiece event coming from Fairyhouse at 17:00 as the 2022 Irish Grand National has attracted a red-hot field bidding for glory, and some of our racing tipsters have picked out their best bets for the marathon contest. There are nine race meetings taking place today, and we have a flurry of naps here for you to get stuck into...

A huge field of top notch staying chasers will line up for the Irish Grand National at 17:00 and it's no shock to see the race has proven popular among our tipsters, but the standout selection is the 14/1 chance Mister Fogpatches, who has been tipped up by three of our racing tipsters for the Fairyhouse feature. A former Punchestown Festival winner, the eight-year-old was last seen finishing sixth in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham, and he has caught the eye of Karl Hedley from The Irish Post, Robin Goodfellow from the Daily Mail and Jim Delahunt from The Scottish Sun.
Some other eye-catching Irish National tips include the former Triumph Hurdle hero Farclas, who is the selection of the third-placed Mercury from the Daily Post, and that 10/1 chance has to be a huge player, while Paul Kealy from The Weekender has tipped up the 22/1 chance Frontal Assault.
An early faller in the Grand National at Aintree, Enjoy D'allen will look to bounce back to form on Monday and the JP McManus-owned raider has been napped by both Ian Gaughan and Chris Wright, while other selections include the 33/1 outsider Battleoverdoyen and the current 11/2 favourite Gaillard Du Mesnil.

The most popular tip on Monday runs in the 14:10 at Fakenham, as the Alan King-trained Restitution has been tipped by 12 racing writers and looks the to beat at Evens, while the 5/4 chance Wilkins (14:14 Redcar) and the John & Thady Gosden-trained Saga (14:55 Kempton) have both been tipped up 11 times.
For those looking for a bigger priced selection could side with Andrew Mount from Racing & Football Outlook, who has tipped up the 14/1 chance Billy McGarry, who is a lively outsider for the 16:34 at Redcar, while RP Ratings has selected the 16/1 chance Morani Kali as the best bet in the 15:40 at Huntingdon, and that charge is as big as 16/1 for that National Hunt contest.
