Horse Racing Tips: Leader Backing The Jonjos

After an epic weekend of racing, it is a lowkey Monday to start the new week off. Nevertheless, there are winners to be found so without further ado let's dive into the Naps, stats and latest racing news...

Monday's Most Popular Naps and Naps Table Leader Standings
A couple of horses have been selected by three experts as the best bet of the day, with the first being LIGHTENING COMPANY for Ben Haslam in the 14:52 at Pontefract. This horse won the race last season from just two pounds lower and while he's been lightly tried since then, one suspects a repeat bid has been in the pipeline for sometime.
George Boughey's COMPOSITE is the choice of a further three experts as the best bet of the day in the 18:30 at Windsor, including the Nap of On The Nose from the Racing Post who currently sit second in the standings as the final weekend approaches. West Country still have a commanding lead and side with CAWTHORNE BANKER in the 16:55 at Kempton, who looks a bit of a project for Jonjo O'Neill. He is yet to really kick on over hurdles after looking smart as a bumper horse, but the penny could well drop for this race and it looks winnable.
Lambourn has made it into third place on the leaderboard as the competition draws to its conclusion and sides with HE KNOWS BETTER in the 15:12 at Ffos Las. Warren Greatrex's charge is on his second run since his wind surgery, which is interesting, and this handicap debut could potentially spark a mini revival for a horse who disappointed back in January which prompted the wind surgery.
- West Country - Cawthorne Banker - 16:55 Kempton - P&L: £23.13
- On The Nose - Composite - 18:30 Windsor - P&L: £8.21
- Lambourn - He Knows Better - 15:12 Ffos Las - P&L: £4.75
How About Stat?
It's a family affair atop the jockey course trainer form today, with Paul Townend's 51% success rate at Tramore narrowly seeing him lead from sister Jody - who is operating at 47% at the track. Both look likely to add more winners today riding for that man Willie Mullins.
