Horse Racing Tips: Check out Tuesday's naps from Down Royal and Southwell
It's a relatively quiet day's racing on Tuesday with the solitary Jumps fixture coming from Down Royal this afternoon, while there's an evening all-weather Flat card taking place at Southwell. We take a look at both fixtures here and pick out some of the most eye-catching naps from both meetings...

Having landed a stunning treble at Wolverhampton on Monday, young jockey Billy Loughnane will look to continue his start to his career at Southwell on Tuesday evening and he partners the Mark Loughnane-trained Triggered in the 18:30 at Southwell. Proving the most popular nap of the day with a whopping seven tipsters napping the 5/2 shot, the likes of Rory Delargy from The Irish Field and Fortunatus from the Sheffield Star fancy Triggered to build on a second placed finish at Kempton last time out, and off the same mark this evening looks the one to beat.
There's a host of popular selections running at Southwell this evening and the Simon & Ed Crisford-trained Vespasian has caught the eye of three tipsters including Marlborough from the Daily Telegraph and that contender lines up in the 19:00 contest. However, current naps table leader Andrew Bladen from the Wolverhampton Express & Star is taking on Vespasian with Tolstoy, who is currently a 9/2 chance and is another napped by three tipsters for the 19:00 race. Last seen finishing seventh of nine at Lingfield, Tolstoy is dropped 1lbs and is now 2lbs lower than when he finished an excellent third at Southwell two starts ago, so a return to the track could see him flourish.
Karl Burke and Clifford Lee team up at Southwell this evening and the pair will unleash the well-fancied Evens favourite Run Teddy Run, who is another napped by three tipsters for the 20:30 finale, and the flourishing four-year-old son of Mayson is bidding for a third win in a row and looks capable of landing the hat-trick with aplomb.

Across the Irish Sea to Down Royal there's a seven-race card and the most popular nap of the day is the Gavin Cromwell-trained Limerick Lace, who is currently a red-hot 10/11 favourite for the 14:25 event. The six-year-old put up a decent effort last time out when second at Limerick and looks capable of going one better today and three tipsters are napping the JP McManus-owned raider for glory.
Dean Kilbryde of the East Anglian Daily Times is the form tipster and will attempt to make it three winning naps on the bounce, and he has napped the 15/8 shot Angels Dawn in the 15:35 race. Second in a competitive event at Punchestown over the festive period, Angels Dawn will need to defy a 4lbs rise this afternoon, but he shaped like there could be more to come over fences, so has to be respected.
Other eye-catching naps from Down Royal on Tuesday include 5/6 jolly Doctor Bravo, who is the best bet of the day for Mercury of the Daily Post, and that contender lines up in the 12:40 race, while later on in the afternoon Karl Hedley from the Irish Post is napping the 7/2 chance Bidentime in the 15:00 race.
