Cheltenham Festival 2025: Which Bookmakers Are Non-Runner No Bet?

The 2025 Cheltenham Festival is on the horizon and with National Hunt fans' mouths salivating at the prospect of the finest animals the sport has to offer clashing for Championship races at the greatest venue in Jumps Racing, bookmakers are beginning to alter their Non-Runner No Bet offering.
Here at HorseRacing.Net we are determined to give you all the information you need about the vital concession, so read on to find out which bookmakers are offering NRNB, which are offering some NRNB concessions but not all and which are still antepost only...
What is Non-Runner No Bet?
Non-Runner No Bet - or NRNB - is a term known to horse racing customers and means that if the market is clearly marked an NRNB market, the stake is returned to the customer should their selection not run in the specified race. Some bookmakers will abbreviate with NRMB, meaning non runner money back.
The concession has exploded in popularity in recent years as racing bettors have loved the insurance the concession gives them against the unpredictable nature of the sport. Withdrawals or plans changing are commonplace in racing, particularly in National Hunt circles, and circumstances of a withdrawal can include such concerns as going (think Banbridge in the 2023 Turners when Joseph O'Brien ruled him out due to bad ground), ill health or injury (Altior missed the 2020 Champion Chase due to lameness) or simply a change of plans (Vautour was all set for the 2017 Gold Cup until a last minute switch to the Ryanair). Punters who backed any of these horses antepost will have lost their money, but those who backed the horses NRNB will have suffered no loss and had their stake refunded.
NRNB is not often offered by bookmakers throughout the season, but an exception is at the Cheltenham Festival. Over the years firms have taken it in turns to be the first to change their grids to NRNB, while some firms choose to gradually implement the concession (for example, making the five Championship races NRNB a few weeks before giving the full concession to all 28 Festival races). Bet365 employed that strategy this season, and now have both antepost and NRNB markets for all races at the Festival, while Paddy Power and Betfair went NRNB but also kept up their antepost odds for punters who preferred a bigger price and more risk.
