The Punchestown Champion Chase is a Grade 1 race run over two miles and takes place during the Punchestown Festival. Open to horses aged five years and older, the race is often contested by a host of star two-mile chasers that have battled it out in the Queen Mother Champion Chase at the Cheltenham Festival earlier in the season.
