The course Worcester Racecourse is a left handed national hunt course that is an oval shaped circuit that is 13 furlongs in length. The course is made up of nine easy fences; five of these are in the back straight and then the final four are in the home straight.
The course holds around 17 meetings each year between May and October. The principal races here are the Betfair Handicap Hurdle which is held in June and the Richard Davis Memorial Handicap Chase in October.
In 2007 when the United Kingdom was subjected to major flooding the racecourse was overrun with water which caused all of the meetings after June 30th to be cancelled.
