About the Ribblesdale Stakes
The Ribblesdale Stakes is a Group Two race run on day three of Royal Ascot and is run over one mile, three furlongs and 211 yards.
First run in 1919, the Ribblesdale Stakes has become of the feature races for three-year-old fillies that have already competed for Classic glory earlier in the season, whether in the 1000 Guineas or Oaks, but with the contest just falling below top level then it can give those fillies that may not be Group One class to try and land a coveted race on their CV. One of the highlights on day three of the meeting, the Ribblesdale is always a competitive betting heat for punters to enjoy.
Aidan O'Brien's Warm Heart was a classy winner of the Ribblesdale Stakes as the Ballydoyle raider got the better of Lumiere Rock.

Ribblesdale Stakes Tips
In a race with a hot favourite in Divine Rain, a chance is taken on a bit of an outsider in FOREST FAIRY to bounce back from her Oaks flop and reassert herself for Andrew Balding as one of the top middle distance fillies around of her generation. She beat Port Fairy at Chester on her penultimate start and is now a much bigger price so rates a value each-way play.
