Horse Racing Tips: Brighton takes centre stage in the Naps competition
There's horse racing action on Tuesday 27th June from four tracks across Great Britain while the sole Irish meeting comes from Roscommon. We've taken a look through all the selections available on site and highlighted a couple of the most interesting picks that are worthy of a second look.
We have the best bet from a host of the country's most well respected press pack tipsters so you are aa clued up as possible about the coming afternoon's racing action...

The first race of the day across all five meetings comes from Hamilton, and the Scottish track hosts an intriguing looking seven race card. The horse with the second-most Nap selections of the day runs in the feature race of the day north of the border, the Stay At Hampton By Hilton Almada Mile Handicap over a mile and sixty eight yards. SIP AND SMILE represents up and coming trainer George Boughey and will be ridden by William Buick. This is a horse that has had a profitable season thus far with three wins already to his name. Last time out he could only manage fourth place at Doncaster but off a feather weight which he is carrying here he could make his presence felt and has been selected by three members of the leaderboard as their best bet of the day.
By far the most popular runner of the day in terms of Naps, however, is BRYNTEG, set to run in the second contest down at Brighton. Beaten just a length on his seasonal debut last time out at Bath, this gelding can go a couple of places better for the Osbourne team of Jamie training and Saffie riding. Brynteg's run at Bath would be described by anyone with even a vague interest in racing as eye-catching, as despite being slowly away he rattled home to pass all bar two of his rivals as the race progressed. With a better start it is not hard to envisage him being victorious that day and providing he doesn't fluff his lines from the stalls this time round he can make amends as favourite here.
Brynteg
Melissa Jones has recently stormed to the top of the Naps table leaderboard and dethroned long time leader Expert Eye, who is in fact with the aforementioned Brynteg as his best bet of the day. Our leader however is looking for a winner at a bigger price and has zoned in on EASTERN STAR for Tony Carroll and Luke Morris down at Brighton in the final race on the card. Throughout the winter months Carroll's runner was performing admirably and consistently on the all weather without clinching a coveted victory. His last three runs have seen him finish third, third and second on the all weather at Lingfield and Kempton, but clearly the Naps trailblazer thinks the switch back to turf will be the missing piece and see him home in front down at Brighton.
His last win came on good to firm, the surface he will be racing on today, and the booking of Luke Morris to take over from claimer Mollie Phillips could be a signal of intent from connections. The selection has been weak in the market all morning and at the time of writing has drifted out to an each-way price at 11/2 and could prove tremendous value to continue Jones's hot streak in the Naps competition.
