A lightly-raced hurdler, Recite A Prayer tasted his biggest career success when storming to victory in a competitive Killarney Handicap Chase over 3m 2f back in May 2022, but since then he's struggled to get his head in front, so will face a tough task at Aintree and is unsurprisingly a big price in the latest Grand National Odds.

He ran a mighty race to finish second in the Kerry National at Listowel back in September, while he wasn't disgraced on his next start when he was a very creditable third in the Cork Grand National. Willie Mullins sent Recite A Prayer to Aintree in December, but he failed to land any sort of blow in the Becher Chase, as he was a well beaten 12th of 22. He will improve for the experience around the unique Aintree course, but he's unlikely to be the top of many punters' Grand National Tips heading into the world's greatest steeplechase.

Last seen finishing down the field in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown in December, he's been given a notable break off the track, but he will need to recapture some of his early season form if he is to land any sort of blow here. However, there's a host of classier rivals taking him on here and he could be the least likely Mullins-trained winner of the National.
