Zverev progressed from his semi-final with Novak Djokovic, having led 7-6 when the Serbian retired hurt, while Sinner breezed to a 7-6 6-2 6-2 win over 21st seed Ben Shelton. Sinner will start the final as a pretty heavy favourite to land the first major of the year.

Who will win Jannik Sinner vs Alexander Zverev?
We have two best bets for Sunday's final:
Recommended bet - Alexander Zverev to win (3.25 at Casumo)
A first Grand Slam title still eludes Alexander Zverev but this could be the best chance he gets this season to land a major title and he can finally get over the line.
This is the third time Zverev has made the final of a Grand Slam and he will have learned a lot from his defeats in the finals of the 2024 French Open and 2020 US Open.
He is up against a serious force in Italian ace Jannik Sinner but Zverev is second seed for a reason.
Zverev won 40 of his 53 matches on hard courts in 2024 and the big-hitting German leads the head-to-head with Sinner 4-1, with three of his previous wins over the Italian also coming on hard courts.
After dispatching 12th seed Tommy Paul in the quarter-finals, he won a first-set tie-break against Novak Djokovic in their last-four clash before his Serbian counterpart was forced to withdraw through injury.
Having played just the one set in that match, Zverev could be a touch fresher going into this final and he can unsettle Sinner, who may not be able to deliver as the favourite this time around.

Recommended bet - Over 4.5 sets in match (3.40 at Casumo)
Even if Zverev does not get over the line in this contest, it will likely still be competitive and backing the final to go the distance is another wise way to play it.
It was a hard-fought battle when these two last met in the ATP Cincinnati Masters last year with Sinner edging it but only after winning two tie-breaks.
Sinner has dropped sets against Holger Rune and Tristan Schoolkate in this Grand Slam, while Zverev was taken to four sets in both the fourth round and the quarter-finals.
Both of these players can be expected to push one another close and a bet on the match to feature five sets appeals.
