Today's Horse Racing Tips: Teed Up to land Irish Lincolnshire

Mighty Thunder (18/1) ran a mighty fine race in the Midlands Grand National at Uttoxeter yesterday. Having jumped well throughout, he cleared the final fence with a two-length lead but was collared late on. It was an agonising watch for me and made it SEVEN seconds since Tuesday. This would have been a big (and much needed) winner, but I really am out of luck at the moment.
It is the start of the Irish flat season today, and I have picked out one bet in the feature race at the Curragh.

Curragh Tip
16:10 – 1m Paddy Power Irish Lincolnshire (Premier Handicap)
Trainer Ken Condon has a good record with his runners at the Curragh and can land another winner at the course courtesy of TEED UP (NAP – 1 point win bet at 6/1). This son of Gleneagles enjoyed a fine 2020 with three wins and three seconds from his six starts. Given that he is a half-brother to plenty of winners, including several rated 100+, there is every chance that he can show a good level of improvement from three to four. His mark of 90 therefore looks very attractive and gets him into this off just 8-13. Already proven on testing ground, he stays a bit further than this one-mile trip and there is an abundance of stamina on the dam’s side of his pedigree. That will be an advantage based on today’s ground conditions and the uphill nature of the finish here. Billy Lee, on board for two of his three victories to date, takes the ride again and the pair won a shade cosily when last seen in October. Stall six looks ideal and a big run is expected.
Party Moon, an interesting recruit from Germany and placed in Listed company, is next best ahead of Godhead, who finished third in the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket last season
