Prestbury Juvenile Hurdle Tips
The 2026 Prestbury Juvenile Hurdle, run as the JCB Triumph Hurdle Trial, is due off at 13:10 on Saturday 14 November, the second day of Cheltenham's November Meeting. We will add our tip once the final field is confirmed in the week of the race.
Juvenile form is thin this early in the season, so experience over hurdles and a liking for the ground often count for more than reputation.
About the Prestbury Juvenile Hurdle
The Prestbury Juvenile Hurdle is a Grade 2 hurdle for three-year-olds over about 2m ½f (2m 87y) on the Old Course. It is sponsored by JCB and run as the JCB Triumph Hurdle Trial, as it is one of the key early trials for the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
James Owen won it with Burdett Road in 2023, who returned to win the Greatwood Hurdle a year later, and again with East India Dock in 2024. Every race at the November Meeting is shown live on Racing TV.
