Horse Racing Tips: Fairbanks fancied for Balding at Leicester on Tuesday
We picked out a brace of winners in yesterday's daily column and head into Tuesday's racing looking to maintain the positive start to the week and pick out some of the most eye-catching naps in our naps table. There's racing at Leicester, Southwell, Lingfield and Wetherby today and here are some of the horses to follow on a relatively quiet day's racing across the UK...

Andrew Balding will be hotly-anticipated the imminent Royal Ascot, which takes place in a couple of weeks, and he will be attempting to head into the showpiece Flat event in good form and he heads to Leicester this afternoon with a notable contender in the shape of Fairbanks, who is a well-fancied 2/1 shot for the 16:35 at Leicester. Proving the most popular nap of the entire day with five tipsters napping the three-year-old, the son of Nathaniel will be attempting to build on a first success at Haydock Park last time out and while he's been given a 6lbs rise for that victory he shaped like there could be more to come.
Earlier on in the afternoon at Leicester, the Julie Camacho-trained Makeen is another heavily supported runner and has been napped by four tipsters for the 15:30 contest, where that raider is currently a 100/30 chance. Napped by the likes of RP Ratings from the Racing Post and Matt Polley from the Ipswich Star, Makeen was a decent third at Newmarket last time out off a mark of 80 and runs off the same figure today, so has to be given the utmost respect in a decent looking betting heat.
One final eye-catching nap at Leicester is the John & Thady Gosden-trained Ziryab, who is ridden by Ryan Moore, and is a 5/4 shot for the 16:00 race. Second at York last time out the Kingman colt is still look for a first success, but could be a notable improver so has to be the one to beat today.

Current naps table leader Jason Heavey from The Star has been in terrific form of late and notched up winning naps on Sunday and Monday and he heads into Tuesday's racing attempting to land the hat-trick and he has veered to Wetherby's evening card for the best bet of the day in the 18:45. Heavey has napped the 7/2 shot Hug A Tree, who lines up for Michael Bell and Jason Watson and having finished a promising third on debut at Salisbury the daughter of Mehmas should improve immeasurably, so has to be considered a huge player.
Farringdon from the Morning Star is in third place in the naps table and heads to Southwell's afternoon National Hunt fixture for the nap of the day and is backing the red-hot 4/5 favourite A Definite Getaway. Ben Pauling's raider has racked up a trio of second placed finishes from his last three starts, so will be desperate to finally break the duck over hurdles and today's assignment looks an ideal opportunity to get his head in front.
Other eye-catching naps on Tuesday include 5/1 shot Libertus in the 19:35 at Lingfield, who is the nap of the day for Ian Gaughran from the Irish Herald and that tipster is another looking for a third winning nap in a row, while the Sportinglife tipster is another aiming for three on the spin and that tipster has napped Sophia's Starlight in the 19:20 at Wetherby.
