Bet St George Review
Bet St George only launched in early March 2026, just in time for the 2026 Cheltenham Festival, and is looking to take a different approach to sports betting than most other sportsbooks: focusing mostly on British sports and inclusivity, both on and off the sporting field.
It’s early days yet for them, of course, but here are some of the pros and cons about them from what I’ve seen so far:
Positives
- Good-quality livestreaming for horse and greyhound racing, including all UK races.
- Lots of pre-selected same-sport and cross-sport accas in case you don’t want to pick them yourself.
- 30 different sports on offer.
- The welcome offer is both generous enough and unfussy and uncomplicated to claim.
- Particularly good for racing and football.
Negatives
- Only debit cards are accepted; no e-wallets such as Google Pay and PayPal.
- Very limited number of cricket markets.
Bet St George Key Features: Why Should You Sign Up?
In such a saturated market as the UK sports betting one, all sportsbooks need to have a few things that really make them stand out. Here are the best features you'll find at Bet St George.
Good Live Betting Product
Punters love the fast-changing nature of live betting, so it’s a good thing that Bet St George has a good product with quickly updated odds and with live betting markets all in one place.
Excellent for Football Betting
Another thing punters love is football betting, and you’re not going to go far if you’re not good in terms of your football offering. But it’s a very impressive one here with every league covered including youth football and women’s football, endless player props, and stats-based markets
And Horse Racing, too…
One of the things I really liked about their horse racing product is that all UK and Irish races include a 2-3 sentence analysis of the chances of some of the main contenders. Add to that competitive odds, live streaming, and a sufficient choice of markets, and you can see why I was impressed.
On Which Sports Can You Apply for the Bet St George Welcome Offer?
All 30+ of them!
Ranging from the staples like football, tennis, and horse racing to mixed martial arts, snooker, and Australian Rules, they really do offer each and every sport you can think of, and you can use the Bet St George free bet on all of them. All of those sports have a load of markets available on them, including…
Outrights
For those who prefer to predict what might happen further ahead, from who is going to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup to who might win Wimbledon this summer, outrights are a great way of getting early value and taking a more long-term view of sporting events.
Bet Builders
Whereas Bet Builders are nothing new, their popularity continues to rise. Mostly used for football, they involve combining selections from the same event, each selection being multiplied by another, and then watching the event unfold to see if you’ve won.
Accas/Multiples
These have been around for a lot longer. Again, the selections in it are multiplied by one another, but in this case, they relate to different events, whether within the same sport or across different sports.
Bet St George Free Bets and Offers for Existing Customers
At the time we checked out their site, midway through the 2026 Cheltenham Festival, most of the offers were related to that; understandably.
But one offer that wasn’t was one where you can bet on any sport and get a free bet as a reward for doing so. Just place £30 of bets on anything you like between Monday and Sunday and you’ll get a £5 free bet awarded to you the following week.
Is there a Bet St George Mobile App?
Currently, there is little publicly available information confirming that Bet St George has a dedicated mobile app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. So we have to assume there isn’t one yet.
Like many newer bookmakers, it appears to prioritise a mobile-optimised website first. This allows users to access the sportsbook easily through a browser on iOS or Android devices, without needing to download a native app. But then again, there may well be an app in the future.
Bet St George Customer Service
There are a few ways you can get in touch with Customer Service at St George Bet, the best of which is by e-mail and that’s at [email protected].
Others are via their social media channels, which are Facebook, X and Instagram. There is no telephone line at present by which you can reach them at, or a Live Chat facility.
But yet another way of trying to resolve your queries is to visit their FAQs section, where you may be able to find the answer to some of the most common problems, such as how to make a deposit/withdrawal, which currencies you can use, or how to change your account’s password.
Bet St George Responsible Gambling Features
Here, Responsible Gambling is known as Safer Gambling, but as you can imagine, it’s the same thing.
To find out all you need about responsible gambling here at Bet St George, navigate to the bottom left of the homepage and click on Safer Gambling.
The first thing you can do is take a short test/quiz to see if you may have a gambling problem by answering a set of questions.
If you do find you may have a problem, you may consider using some of their Safer Gambling tools.
Even if you don’t think you have a problem, it may be worth using them anyway before your betting becomes a problem.
The tools include:
- Deposit Limits – Set daily, weekly, or monthly caps on how much money you can deposit into your account to help manage your spending.
- Loss Limits – Set a maximum amount you’re willing to lose over a chosen time period.
- Wagering Limits – Restrict the total amount you can stake on sports bets within a defined timeframe.
- Time-Outs – Take a short break from betting, typically ranging from 24 hours to six weeks, if you feel you need some time away.
- Self-Exclusion – Close your account for a longer period, such as six months or permanently, if gambling is starting to cause problems in your life. In some cases, it really is better if you don’t bet at all.
- Reality Checks – Receive regular reminders showing how long you’ve been playing, helping you stay aware of your activity and avoid spending too much time betting, rather than focusing on such things as family, work, and your health.
Our Experience Using Bet St George
As with many new betting sites, I have some mixed feelings about Bet St George.
And this one really is brand new!
They’ve got a very impressive range of sports to bet on, the horse racing and football products are particularly good, and I was extremely happy with the streaming for racing, as well as the Bet Builders for football, as good as those at far more established sportsbooks.
Having placed some football bets to try the whole thing out for myself, I thought the odds were generous enough, placing them was easy, there were lots of markets to play, and I even won some money with my welcome offer free bet!
As ever with brand new sportsbooks, they’ll need to work on a few things. It would be nice if they were a fast withdrawal site in the future, or at the very least they should add some more payment options, their cricket product (my favourite sport to bet on) needs some more markets added to it, and I think a Sportsbook should really have a Customer Service phone line, even though many don’t.
But that all the above isn’t quite up to speed is quite normal as a new site, and they’ve certainly made a pretty solid start.
