About the Jersey Stakes
The Jersey Stakes is a Group Three race run on the final day of Royal Ascot and is contested over seven furlongs by three-year-old horses.
First run in 1919, the Jersey Stakes has often switched around the schedule and is one of the feature races on Saturday's final day of Royal Ascot. Attracting a strong field annually, the Jersey Stakes can be the stepping stone for horses ready to excel over one mile in the future with the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood a race targeted by horses taking their chance here.
Aidan O'Brien's Age Of Kings was a shock 22/1 winner of the Jersey Stakes in 2023.
