Goodwood Tips: Irish raider should be hard to beat in the Molecomb on day 2

Day two of Glorious Goodwood is set to be headlined by the Group 1 Sussex Stakes as Field Of Gold seeks to confirm his status as the best three-year-old miler in Britain or Ireland.
They race at Goodwood from 13:20-16:55 on Wednesday, and the ITV Racing team are on site with the first five races broadcast live once again.
Our racing expert has picked out a trio of runners from the TV offering that could be worth following at Glorious Goodwood on Wednesday.

Tip 1: Sudu to win the Handicap (13:20) @ 5/1
A mile-and-a-half awaits the contenders in the day-two opener and top-weight is the burden for Irish raider Omni Man in the hands of Ryan Moore.
He's one of a host of solid contenders, with Roger Varian's SUDU also expected to be in the mix.
The Teofilo gelding is progressing with each run and powered home to win by seven lengths over this trip at Epsom at the start of the month, form franked since as the runner-up Navid has scored at Salisbury.
Silvestre De Sousa is booked for the ride here and while the handicapper has applied some pressure, this promising three-year-old may defy him.
Tip 2: Lady Iman to win the Molecomb Stakes (14:30) @ 6/4
Ger Lyons has been out of luck with his five previous raiders to Goodwood but he may get on the scoresheet now with the promising filly LADY IMAN.
She has won three of her four starts, including a Group 3 over 6f on good ground at Naas in May when she had subsequent Chantilly Group 2 scorer Green Sense in second.
She was beaten afterwards in the Airlie Stud Stakes at the Curragh when second behind Ballydoyle filly Beautify but on the evidence of that race, dropping back a furlong for what will be a lightning quick experience at Goodwood looks optimal and, with no Ballydoyle runner and Colin Keane serving a suspension, Lyons has picked up the services of Ryan Moore.

Tip 3: Field Of Gold to win the Sussex Stakes (15:05) @ 2/5
It's hard to imagine a shock outcome in this feature race as FIELD OF GOLD looks extremely solid at the head of affairs.
His 2000 Guineas reverse at Newmarket was explained away easily as he conceded first run to the winner but rattled home to be second.
He has atoned with wins in the Irish Guineas and the St James's Palace Stakes since and, despite a far from optimal trip at Ascot, he was far too good for Henri Matisse in second spot as Newmarket winner Ruling Court plugged on for a remote third.
This Kingman colt looks absolutely top notch now and, with Juddmonte's retained pilot Keane suspended, William Buick gets a handy call up for the Gosden operation.
