Horse Racing Tips: Brunch to eat up his rivals in Listed York contest
There's a busy day's racing across the UK & Ireland with eight fixtures taking place and it all kicks off this afternoon at Chepstow at 13:00. There's alternative afternoon racing at Sandown and York, while there's five meetings this evening from Fairyhouse, Clonmel, Newton Abbot, Goodwood and Aintree. We preview all the action here and pick out some of the most eye-catching best bets from a host of racing tipsters...

Last seen finishing second in a competitive York handicap, Brunch will attempt to go one better this afternoon when lining up in the Listed Ganton Stakes at 15:30 at York, and the Michael Dods-trained raider has proven extremely popular with our racing tipsters as three of them have napped the 11/4 chance. Mercury of the Daily Post and The Score from Racing TV are two of the tipsters hoping the former course and distance winner can taste victory again on the Knavesmire and Dods' charge looks to have a huge chance.
However, he's sure to have a big danger in the shape of the current 5/4 favourite Mohaafeth, who is a former Royal Ascot winner, and is set to return to British shores after running well at Meydan, and the William Haggas-trained son of Frankel is the best bet of Fortunatus from the Sheffield Star.
David O'Meara's Tammani is the only other horse that has been napped by three tipsters on Friday, as that charge bids for glory in the 16:05 at York, and is currently trading around the 9/2 mark. Last seen finishing fourth at York, the five-year-old will attempt to build on that effort and is the best bet of the likes of RP Ratings from the Racing Post and Spotlight from the Racing Post.
In arguably one of the most competitive events of the day, several contenders have been tipped for the 16:05 contest and a couple of eye-catching selections are the 11/1 chance Russco, who is the best bet of Chris Wright from the Liverpool Echo and the 12/1 chance Ugo Gregory, who is a 12/1 chance and the best bet of Karl Hedley from the Irish Post.

There's some decent action at Sandown Park this afternoon and Expert Eye, who tops the current naps table, heads to that meeting for the best bet of the day, and the On The Nose tipster has selected the 6/1 chance Ar El Bee in the 15:55 event. David Menuisier's raider was creditably when sixth of 13 at Sandown last time out, and the son of Le Havre should improve for that outing and will be bidding to break his maiden tag today.
The 15:55 event has proven extremely popular with some of the tipsters towards the head of the naps table as the the second placed Garry Owen has tipped up the 4/1 shot True Accolade, while the fourth placed Lambourn from The Racing Post has picked out the 22/1 outsider Mambo Beat, who will make his seasonal reappearance today.
Newsboy of the Daily Mirror has been in tremendous tipping form backing back-to-back winners and he heads to Chepstow's card on Friday and is picked out the 9/2 chance Macs Dilemma in the 13:35 at Chepstow, while The Scout from The Daily Express heads to Newton Abbot's National Hunt card this evening and the hat-trick-seeking tipster is backing the 7/4 shot Sebastopol.
