Horse Racing Tips: Monday's Most Napped Horse Runs At Lingfield
All four tracks set to host racing this Monday look to be given the green light after Punchestown and Hereford passed early morning inspections following a freezing cold night. Here we will take a look through the most popular naps from the meetings at the aforementioned two tracks as well as Lingfield and Wolverhampton, before providing you with some of the most intriguing stats of the day and a round-up of the weekend's action...

Most Popular Monday Naps
Slade Power was a wonderful sprinter back in the day and scooped plenty of top prizes, and it is one of his geldings that leads the way as the most popular Monday Nap today from Lingfield. In the closing contest over 1m2f, C&D winner CHAGALL looks primed to run a big race and has the support of five Naps competition entrants. The eight year old has won four times here so clearly loves a visit to Lingfield and won a handicap over this course and distance just fifteen days ago in good style. A four pound rise doesn't look likely to be enough to halt his winning run and at 5/1 he looks the best bet of the day.
HorseRacing.Net Say: Chagall is definitely the form pick in the closing race at Lingfield, and it is easy to see why five entrants fancy him as the best bet of the day.
Away from Lingfield and over the jumps at Hereford, one other horse has attracted the support of three Naps competition entrants and that is IMAC WOOD. Intriguingly, this popular best bet pick has been selected by our runaway leader in the competition to further extend the lead.

Follow The Leaders
As mentioned in the previous section, The Punt of the Racing Post remains top of the tree in the Naps table and has picked IMAC WOOD for glory at Hereford. Deborah Cole's six year old already has two wins to his name since returning to action post summer, with one coming over today's course and distance. Last time out just 31 days ago he ran well from the back in a race which favoured those who remained prominent at Doncaster and he looks to have an outstanding chance of finding the winning thread once more at a course we know he likes.
In second place in the Naps table is Brian Flanagan of the Irish Daily Star, who sides with Mr Social as his best bet of the day at Punchestown in the 14:25. A 4/1 chance at the time of writing, Eoin Griffin's charge has been running consistently well of late to notch a host of places without getting the elusive victory. Everything looks in his favour today to snag the first win since August, with a step back up in trip looking to be just what the doctor ordered.
The expert in third place is Spotlight at the Racing Post, who interestingly are taking on The Punt in the 14:37 at Hereford with the other market leader Ballybeen. Sam Thomas's charge is a model of consistency with placed efforts galore, but often finds it hard to win and as such the preference would be for Imac Wood in our opinion in this battle of the Naps table leaders.

Racing News Round-Up
- Mystical has the Power - Before this weekend, the Supreme Novices' Hurdle picture looked murky. Not anymore, however, as the regally bred son of Annie Power MYSTICAL POWER put in a brilliant performance at Punchestown to win and rocket past ownership-mate Jeriko Du Reponet into favouritism. He looks a star.
- Blood Destiny Beaten - One of the dark horses for the Arkle had been Blood Destiny for Willie Mullins. He was long odds on to win over the weekend at Punchestown in a Grade 3, but was turned over at 2/5 by the improving SPILLANE'S TOWER. Take nothing away from the winner, who could be a sneaky Turner's contender.
- Clarence House Classic in store - Racing fans are already salivating at the prospect of EL FABIOLO and JONBON renewing hostilities after last year's Arkle in the Clarence House at Ascot this weekend. They look the only two capable of giving each other a race in the two mile chase division, so pray for no non-runners!
