Tuesday's Most Popular Naps & Naps Table Leader's Picks
Tom Marquand rides the day's most popular Nap at Epsom for the Coles, SPLENDENT in the 15:55. He has won a race in Hungary of all places - not something you see everyday when assessing the form over here - and was a great servant for connections last season. He ran a poor race on reappearance this year over 2m, but that has always looked a few furlongs too far for him and he should strip much fitter here so obviously merits consideration.
Lambourn in third place is one of the four experts who have sided with Splendent, and he has his work cut out to catch runaway leader West Country who is now over £25 in profit. Their best bet of the day is SPAGO in the 14:18 at Southwell. He is an unexposed chaser and should be suited by the drop in trip for this race as he hunts more progression.
On The Nose is still in second place and interestingly is taking on the most popular Nap of the day in the 15:55 with CHAMPAGNE PIAFF. He has been strong in the market this morning with Ryan Moore booked to ride for father Gary and after a big break he ran with credit last time out from an unideal position. If stripping fitter he looks the main danger to Splendent.
- West Country - Spago - 14:18 Southwell - P&L: £25.63
- On The Nose - Champagne Piaff - 15:55 Epsom - P&L: £7.21
- Lambourn - Splendent - 15:55 Epsom - P&L: £3.75
How About Stat?
Linda Perratt is often top of the longest travellers table on our site, but today her sole runner is travelling on a whopping 822 mile round trip down to Epsom. MOON FLIGHT is a tasty price if you fancy backing the Perratt horse to bag some prize money and make the long journey home much more cheerful...
